She adores me and I love her in a way that took me by surprise. She looked out for me when I lived in a war zone and is now trying to get used to being a mere "pet" in the States. It's been a bit of an adjustment for both of us.<br /><br />I just found your blog the other day, and started reading at the beginning. I'm considering foster care if I end up settling here, so it's very informative for me.
